Children’s Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child’s birthday at the National Aviary with immersive habitats and one-of-a-kind experiences! With ample space in our Learning Center, the National Aviary is the perfect location for your next celebration.
Our Children’s Birthday Party Package Includes:
- A birthday party room rental on Saturday or Sunday from 11:30 am – 1 pm
- Same-day General Admission for up to 20 guests for $400 or 30 guests for $500 (any combination for children and adults)
- Habitat access for ALL party guests even after the party ends
- Access to Interactive Play Spaces:
- Play in our kid-sized Grocery Store and learn about rainforest-friendly shopping with sustainable products “approved” by our flock!
- It’s show time! Put on a charming production featuring an iconic rainforest feathered friend in our Avian Puppet Theater. Plus, perform an award-winning soundtrack using kid-friendly musical instruments and bird call guides.
- Warm up with children’s books about lush tropical rainforests and get into the groove by reading books about bird sounds in our Book Nook.
- Explore musical notes alongside the colors and textures of the rainforest in our Sensory Table.
- Color your very own animal coloring page and watch it come to life using our Draw Alive station.
- Climb on a larger-than-life bird’s nest and life-size mushrooms in Condor Court!
- Tables and chairs with an array of plastic tablecloth color options*

Animal Encounter
Our Animal Encounters are the perfect way to make a child’s special day unforgettable! Get up close and personal with some of the world’s most fascinating animals and enjoy amazing photo opportunities! Animal Encounters could be with a bird of prey, parrot, or armadillo.

Delicious food and beverage options from Executive Chef Nathan Collins and Atria’s Specialty Catering, click here to view menu options. Guests may bring their own dessert.
