Holiday Late Nights

Holiday Late Nights | December 26, 27, 28 & 29 | 5 pm – 8 pm | Included with General Admission 

Explore tropical immersive habitats after dark, where beautiful birds roost in lush tree canopies. Take in holiday décor while taking part in family-friendly activities. Enjoy festive nightly programming. 

Hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and holiday menu items prepared by Atria’s Specialty Catering are available for purchase. Cash bar with seasonal cocktails.

Tuesday, December 26

Event: Holiday Trivia hosted by Arnel Balcita
Time & Location: 6 pm in The Garden Room
Guests can enjoy food, drink, and holiday trivia! Guests will form teams and show off their holiday knowledge for the opportunity to win fun prizes.

Wednesday, December 27

Event: Shining Stars Holiday Dance Performances
Time & Location:  6 pm and 7 pm in the Helen M. Schmidt FliteZone Theater
The Shining Stars – a dance company complete with dancers aged 6 – 17 years – will perform a spectacular holiday dance routine! Participation in the “Shining Stars” is by invitation and audition. Guests will have two opportunities to see the show.

Thursday, December 28

Event: Gingerbread Decorating
Time & Location: 5 pm – 8 pm in The Garden Room
Guests are able to unwind in The Garden Room and enjoy creating a gingerbread house out of graham crackers and other completely edible supplies.

Friday, December 29

Event: Painting with Maria DeSimone Prascak of Maria’s Ideas (mariasideas.com)
Time & Location: 6 pm – 7:30 pm in The Garden Room
Guests are invited to paint a seasonal cardinal on a small canvas with instruction from professional artist Maria DeSimone Prascak. Catered towards all painting levels – including novices, this design takes about 20 minutes to complete, and guests still have time to walk around the Aviary.
