Flamingo Fest

Flamingo Fest | Saturday & Sunday, February 24 – 25 | 11 am – 3 pm | Included with admission

Get ready to fla-mingle! Put on your finest pink attire and head to the National Aviary for the return of Flamingo Fest. Make a fun flamingo craft, learn about all things flamingo from the experts at the Aviary, and meet the flock in the beautifully renovated Wetlands habitat.

Flamingo Fest Schedule of Activities: 

10:30 am: Flamingo Talk | Wetlands 

11 am – 3 pm: Go on a pink-inspired scavenger hunt | Full Facility 

11 am – 3 pm: Flamingo Discovery Zone | Learning Center
Activities including a flamingo suncatcher craft, a flamingo book nook, flamingo biofacts, and more!

  • Create a flamingo suncatcher craft
  • Read a story in our Flamingo Book Nook
  • Where in the World Do Flamingos Live
  • Flamingo Biofacts
  • Flamingo Life: Finding Food
  • Kid-friendly Flamingo-inspired Yoga
