Is your teen passionate about animals? Would they love to go behind-the-scenes at the National Aviary?

Teens ages 14 – 18 can spend FOUR days with National Aviary experts learning about the dynamic world of animal care and conservation. This program offers a unique opportunity to experience firsthand what it takes to care for the more than 500 animals (including a colony of African Penguins!) that call the Aviary home.

Fox Chapel resident and 1962 graduate S. Kent Rockwell is working to acquire Shady Side Academy middle school and plans to have the 35-acre middle school campus donated to the Aviary via the SK Rockwell Conservancy.
