Become an Organ Donor

April is Donate Life Month!

Healthcare is important to humans and animals alike. Our veterinary team and animal care staff members work hard to provide individualized care for more than 500 birds, mammals, and reptiles each and every day, from routine checkups for our recent hatchlings to handling emergencies, like setting up a bird of prey blood bank for transfusions.

That’s why the Aviary is excited to partner with UPMC and CORE to bring awareness to Donate Life Month, in an effort to highlight the health plights of humans in need of help.

Approximately 7,000 people in Pennsylvania are awaiting transplantation at this very moment.

What We Are Doing

All April long, registered organ donors* can see the National Aviary’s brand new, immersive bird show, Passport to Parks, presented by AAA Travel, for just $4 per ticket!
